MAX 10 Pay

I’d imagine the 737 Max -10 will have to be assigned a pay rate. Without mentioning pay banding or starting that holy war, how will this new plane’s pay be addressed?
It’s hard to find past precedent for this kind of thing in the UPA. United hasn’t ordered a narrowbody of a different size or variant within this pay category recently.

You want more money to fly the Max10? Isnt the satisfaction of knowing that you are in command of Boeing’s newest, most state of the art, aircraft enough extra compensation? Money can’t buy the grin on your face when you push those throttles forward and feel the hydraulic lift kit extend the mains.

I was just told that it wouldn't matter if UAL was on a UPS-type pay scale, where the type aircraft didn't matter... only seat and longevity.

Working international is like working for a different airline at United. Better in so many respects I'm not certain you would see a major shift in who flys what.
