Much more then a lot actions and opinions I see on here from pilots who want to be paid like managers but act like children.

Yep, I’ll look forward to reading your inspirational story. You can act Ike a manager AND a pilot. We’re all proud of you, I’m sure.

Only thing Gordon did was convince you the **** sandwich you were eating was tasty. That must have been some strong Koolaid he poured lol.

True statement. Both Larry and Gordon were nice guys but the pilots were played. Thread on another forum by a few reminiscing about the good ole days made me kinda sick as I recalled having no health insurance for 6 months of employment and being paid 50% when deadheading across the Atlantic(although this was “snapped up to 100% over time as part of a concessionary contract). I’m not sure what, about the late 1990’s-mid 2000’s at CAL was better than today. It is similar to observing those wanting to “make America great again” without really stating just what period they are referring to or what “better” entails. It is all subjective.

Lots of talk here and on the line about how we aren’t hiring like Delta, not as profitable as Delta, and so on. Is Delta and United a true apples to apples comparison? What is their scope like, their ability to enter JV deals, etc.? If they have weaker scope and can farm more out to foreign partners allowing them higher profits, then how bad do we want to be like them? Haven’t looked very far into the comparison. Hopefully someone here has done he work for me.

It's unlikely the board would say much publicly, however the Baord Chairman is out, after just two years.

9 million ... Would tilton, smisek, or kellner not trample over their grandmothers for half of that? This guy is a good egg. He might not be perfect but he is trying to do right here. We have a long way to go.

Good. It's the individual that PAR/Altimeter Capital had installed during the proxy fight a few years ago.

Awax maybe you think the JAL CEO only taking a $1 salary while they dug themselves out was idiotic, or that Trump not pulling a gov't salary is BS? Personally, I appreciate OM's gesture.
