Yea really do not care, just making a point. People try and justify and hide the truth. Yes united(and all other airlines) will hire someone with less experience and qualifications than a while male. Is the while male with more experience a better qualified applicant, yes he is. "yea but",NO.

United has a long history of HR lawsuits involving the hiring and promotion of minorities. There are still active lawsuits out there right up to the beginning of last month. It is an extremely slippery slope and the knee jerk reaction from HR to "fix" the issue has lead to even more lawsuits. I don't know if you can approach this subject without ****ing somebody off.

Applications should have space where you can check gender or race. Problem fixed

You mean can't? Leave all personally identifying information blanked until the app is reviewed and scored. Then if it passes the algorithms, the identifying info becomes visible, and at that point it wouldn't matter. That's the solution if you ask me.

That was the system of old with the scantron and app being separate.

In theory it would work just as described.

They simply found ways around it.
