As stated in Letter 1 to this Agreement, United Airlines has guaranteed to award delivery of a minimum of 20 EMB175s to ExpressJet which shall be operated under this Agreement. Deliveries of the aircraft will begin in the second quarter of 2019.

Should United Airlines not award the EMB175s to ExpressJet following ratification of this Agreement, the Parties will immediately re-enter Section 6 negotiations.

If SkyWest Holdings, Inc. is still a majority owner of ExpressJet Airlines at the end of Jan 2019, the Parties will immediately re-enter Section 6 negotiations.”

The end of January is also the amendable date of the United contract; UAL and ALPA have targeted having a new agreement by then. Coincidence?
Our contract has 0 to do with any express carrier’s vote.

Well yeah, the German way to say it I think. Try it out loud with the accent and you’ll see.

Wondering what the contract says regarding paternity/bonding leave? I may have a interview coming up soon and we are expecting in mid June so don’t think I’d qualify for fmla?

6 weeks per the UPA. I had a kid my first year. Everyone was very helpful. You can borrow vacation if you want it paid.

If you're Newark based you get NJ FMLA insurance coverage, when your company paid leave runs out the state steps up and gives you a stipend of $700 a week. Its that NJFLI tax you can't get out of by living out of state.

And you can take the leave intermittently, too.
