Default Does UAL offer early retirement & keep travel

UsAir offered this a few years ago trying to compare!

Voluntary Resignation with Retiree Flight Privileges Programs
(65 Point Program)
All employee groups are eligible to resign under this program provided they meet the eligibility
requirements.
The employee will be classified as a “Retiree” for purposes of the Retiree
Flight Privileges program only.

Who’s Eligible?
The program is available to all US Airways Employees (company wide - both East and West).
This policy became effective 9/27/05 (effective date of merger). Employees must separate from
the Company in good standing from an active or leave of absence status. The sum of the
employee’s age (in years and full months) and service (in years and full months must be equal to
or greater than 65 with a minimum requirement of 10 years of service.
What are the Benefits?
This program allows for retiree travel and is available for the retiree and their eligible family
members. Retirees board at a SA4P priority. Retirees receive 4 guest passes per year, 2 SA1P
vacation passes and travel on other airlines at reduced fares per OAL agreements. Registered
guests are not eligible for travel under this program. No other benefits are available under the 65
Point Program.
