Default NonRev Question

I'm looking at ID90 to travel to FRA next month.

The only airline it loads is BA through LHR. I know there's more than one ID90 company out there, how does one access space available Lufthansa travel? (I live in L.A., Lufthansa is non-stop)

Also, the MyUA Discount tool is a pretty expensive Lufthansa ticket, for confirmed seats, there's not a cheaper way to get your hands on a ticket, is there?

Thanks a bunch, I don't travel outside of work much and am pretty ignorant about this stuff.

You with United? If so, you can logon to Flying Together and then go to Travel... you can read all about the rules on flying with Lufthansa... and the website link to buy ticket and list.

Loads out of LAX to Europe tend to be very full.

One thing that has worked well for me is to non-rev to IAD, spend the night, and try for the first flight in the morning.

I dont really like to discuss our compensation and benefit package info in a public forum. But your post has several things that sound like outdated information.
I would visit FT and then click Travel. The Drop down menu has "Top Hits". Under the "Top Hits" are two links you need to read: Other Airline Interline Travel and myUAdiscount.
That will clear up everything for you!!! Good luck and PM me if you have more questions.

Other Airline Travel in the Travel section of Flying Together. Most airlines go through MyTravelID, but a few are on ID90Travel. The latter’s mobile version has a problem loading all the airlines available, so unless you use a desktop or iPad, you might have trouble finding the flights you want. MyTravelID has a general search by route function, but I’ve found that it too can omit certain options, so it’s best to know what flights are available and select the airline you want in your search. Google is pretty good for displaying flight options. If you Google search for example “flight schedules EWR to FRA” it will give you the full list of flights for each day of the week.
