Default LAX 737 CA reserve?

Does anyone have any insight on LAX 737 CA quality of life on reserve? Looks like I might be close to holding it on the next bid or two, but I’d be about as junior as it gets. How much are the CA’s being used in general? Are you experiencing a lot of SC’s and/or field standby assignments? I have taken a look at recent CCS reserve availability (and the associated crew companion info), but was unsure how much of the flying (or SC’s) were proactively picked up. I live in base, and can sit SC from home, so commuting is not a factor. Ideally, laying low and not flying much would be fine (if that’s even an option). So, just how bad is it?

Thanks in advance for any info!

Living in base is the key. Why, because you will get "used like a used rubber" on reserve with short calls, field standby etc.. That means you can go to the gym, bang the wife etc... and still pull reserve..

So, I say go for it. enjoy
