Just got the email for 19 FEB class

Right at 30 days, I wonder if they are waiting until 30 days due to furlough recalls, that way they know how many can come out of the pool and not overfill a class.

Got lucky today and was able to nab a 12 Feb class with a dropout!

Yes, the 30 days prior will continue until we have no folks left on Bypass. The latest that could be is Nov 19. Now if all come back before then, they could start offering classes with additional notification time.

As of the 1st of December of last year, there were 134 pilots remaining on bypass. There recall rights varied from the beginning of 2019 out to November.

Jan 16th CJO, expecting sometime in March I’d guess. No call yet.

After the December 19th CJO’s when did the next set go out?

I don’t think they have gotten past 19 Dec CJOs as those just went out this past sat. But that’s not based on any actual concrete info.

Above post worded incorrectly. I’m wondering, after the 19th CJOs, when was the next date that they called to offer more CJOs. In other words, was the 19th the last set of CJOs for the holidays? And if so, when was the next set?

Interviewed right before Christmas and 1/3/19 CJO, a waiting class date.

Same here. Jan 3rd CJO and still waiting. I think we're in the March 5th boat given what the Dec 19 CJOs were getting. Maybe some Feb 19 classes if there are dropouts. I'll post if I get any word.

I know I read the answer to this somewhere. But now I can't find it.
If one were to interview on a Wednesday, when would one hear the result/get a CJO? It seems like holidays excepted, CJOs come out on Wednesdays...

I was told when I interviewed that Wednesday’s Review Board is for the previous week’s interviewees. I interviewed on a Tuesday and didn’t hear back until the next Wednesday a week later. Definitely a nerve racking week!!

I interviewed on Dec 18th and didn't hear back until Jan 3rd. 16 days! I was convinced I had bombed it.

When do the invites for the March 5 class go out? Any news?

Folks on Furlough Bypass have up until 30 days prior to the class date to notify UA they want in.

Since Feb only has 28 days, I would say the invites for the March 5th class start coming out today (or at least over the next couple).

I got an email from Pilot Hiring on Friday saying they've filled Feb and are about to start on March. So yeah, basically what GoCats said. Hopefully we get some March invites today.

Emails for 3/5 class dates just went out. 40 slots available. Class dates were first come first served, more invites went out than class dates, not sure if that is a new way of doing it or not though.

For those that got the email concerning class dates, would you care to share your interview/CJO dates?

Dec 18th interview, Jan 3rd CJO, just got the email for a March 5th class.

Same for me: Interview 18 DEC, CJO received 3 JAN, class invite 4 FEB for a 5 MAR class.

Since good fortune had me in town, I went to the 8-Ball Ceremony tonight. Great to see Capt K and RJ keep the tradition going. Great venue and well done.

Sad to see no more formal ALPA representation.

Any reason for the ALPA representation going away?

I could speculate based on circumstantial evidence. But no need.
