Default vacation award question

is it possible to bid 3 weeks of vacation in the first bid cycle and accomplish the following:

two weeks awarded in the summer and one week awarded in the winter.

If so, what would this look like in the computer

Bid group one bid all the start dates you want and select "Number of slots" to two.

Bid group two (click plus sign to add) bid all the start dates you want and select "Number of slots" to one.

Yes, but the 2 weeks in the summer must be together. So, you can't get a week at the beginning of July and another at the beginning of August.

If only the company and/or union would put something out that explains all this.

thanks.

I did find a bidding guide under "archives" in CCS. It doesn't explain bidding strategies, but it explains how bids are awarded. It gives 4 examples.

Work on a committee and see endless PDR’s where zero attempt is made to reference the UPA, let alone communications put out by the MEC. An attempt to answer your own situation goes a long way to us helping you. Your reply was golden
