Huh? A free ride to get across town... and I show a little appreciation for it...
Do keep in mind we (as pilots) get a little something for the inconvenience, whereas the FAs do not....or At least to the level we do... but then again I may have been “duped” by the 3 FAs,... but really it was about the safe and efficient ride that I got from point A to point B , So ya, I felt the driver needed to be rewarded for it.

Last time I did that it was a bus to penn, nj transit to newark airport station, and then the airtrain and was $25. It also took 2hours terminal to terminal while lugging my bag. Door to door for free in comfort and being nice to our fa's and van driver... 20 bucks sounds like a bargain.

Q70 bus to Woodside $2.75
LIRR to NY Penn $6.25
NJ Transit NY Penn to EWR $13.00
It can be done in an hour if you hit it right but dragging your bag is a pain.
