Are you comparing physical attributes that people are born with and have zero control over, with a four degree that anyone with drive can achieve?

Nobody in this thread but other threads this year have seen lifer UAX pilots arguing that they already fly United passengers and therefore should be granted an exception etc etc.

Nope. You missed the point.

So why are you bringing this up here?

One is doing what needs to be done to overcome a physical limitation to meet the standard, the other is deliberately refusing to meet the standard. One shows initiative and determination, the other shows a lack of both qualities. One is acceptable to gain employment, one is not. Sounds like a valid point.

I see reading comprehension wasn’t part of your education. The question wasn’t directed at you and nobody was asking the definition of the attributes. Yet you felt compelled to chime in. Nice job.

This isn’t a debate. I simply have an opinion as to what I feel the barriers to entry should or should not be and you and others can agree or disagree all you wish. If you don’t like the opinion, that is your prerogative.

We all know what the current hiring requirements are yet many feel it necessary to reiterate them as if it’s new information. Nobody, including myself, has said that prospective candidates shouldn’t obtain a college education if they wish to be hired by United.
