I live in Houston, which is a small town in Texas, and our Costco sells liquor.

The juice that goes into Weller barrels is the same recipe as that that goes into Pappy barrels. So yeah, it’s good stuff.

you should really brush up on your local liquor laws then Tex.

beer and wine yes the can sell just like Walmart. Hard liquor no.
.Texas is the only state in the U.S. that does not allow publicly traded companies to have retail liquor licenses. Been an ongoing battle for years.

If there is a liquor store connected to a Costco it’s a 3rd party. Usually WB Liquor in Texas. Have you never found it odd they dont have Kirkland branded hard liquor (vodka, gin, etc)for sale?

Who knows maybe Houston just cheated and used a buzzer every time TABC came over to alert everyone. Seems like something they would do? Cheers

Surprisingly delicious sipping tequila, and at 20 bones a liter, it fits in well with my new “it’s the end of the world as we know it” budget.

Hmmm....you’re 100% correct. I never realized it wasn’t actually Costco. It’s literally in the same structure and organized the exact same way. I was totally incorrect.

pits all good. Many people think it’s Costco b/c it’s attached to it. Smart move on their part. It irks me about these dumb old liquor laws. You can’t buy alcohol before noon on Sunday but you can go have brunch before noon and order drinks. Makes no sense...
