No, Winston... go back and read what I wrote.

Keep the the jets only able to fly 70 people.
And find a way to do it that will put money in the union's pocket...preferably toward the furlough fund.

Really? You're going to accuse me of a desire to weaken furlough protections without actually reading what I wrote with any level of comprehension? That is the "unbelievable" part.

What you are proposing will make it easier and cheaper for the company to furlough pilots.

Period.

If he is in fact management, as has been suggested by one of the posters, that is his job.

Our job is to defend the contract that we have and improve it when possible.

They got us in 2003 then again later and we still are short of what we had.

Dont be fooled again.

There is perhaps. I call it a new contract. Until then.....

The best way to keep the jets able to only hold 70 people is to remove 6 seats in all of them. What am I missing here?

Huggy, sorry brother, you just don’t get it. You’re looking at one issue without realizing the ramifications of not enforcing scope. I can say it no simpler than that. The seats need to come out. Period.

Be well,

Lee

This needs to be said again

And Huggy Brother, this ain’t the military. A lot of ex-Mil guys have a hard time with the mentality shift. Uncle Sugar ain’t here to help ya. You are simply a line item to the company. They will NEVER have your back.

Wrong. They will have your back. It makes it easier for them to grab your wallet.
