^^^^^Bingo.....I love flying it’s all Iv ever wanted to do and it’s all I want to do. But right now just getting to and from the jet ****ing sucks. Being confined to a hotel room while on an international overnight is awful. WB flying isn’t worth the pay anymore in my opinion....or maybe now WB pilots are earning their pay:D

I have done both Asia and Europe. Both were more open than the US. Small sample size I know but not only was I able to walk/run around, I even went out for a couple beers and dinner....
Take Australia for example: “crews will be required to self-quarantine in their hotel room while on layover”. $1000 spot fine if you don’t comply. TLV “to help reduce the spread of the virus, crews are required to remain inside their hotel rooms”. if you are going to places where you look and speak like the general population you are probably going to be ok......but Asia? It’s a little hard to stay under the radar. im not risking going to jail in another country just so I can have a beer. That’s not fair to my little kids. |

there is the risk that if you are caught you go to jail (FedEx pilot in SIN). In Tokyo you are given a piece of blue paper that says Quarantine. Take a look at the pilot bulletin in CSS that is updated daily.

Not being able to move around after a fifteen hour flight is torture, no gym, no walk, etc. Brutal.
