No way you are getting 250K on NB pay at 6 year, unless you are including 16% 401k, per diem, profit sharing, etc.

I'm not including that. I'm not trying to boast. It just is what it is. The line guarantees and "hindsight" move up pay at SWA have helped prop up those totals. It's just a pace that I'm extrapolating for the year.

fwiw, I live in base and am not even in the ballpark of $250. Not disputing what he says. A lot of guys play the game better than I do.

I'll be honest and say that a LOT of it has just been plain dumb luck in these unusual circumstances and a little gamesmanship as well. Hoping the best for everyone out there.

A friend of mine texted me yesterday that 925 pilots at Delta have elected to take the early out program, as of yesterday afternoon. I believe that there is still time left to accept the program. I don’t think that it’s closed yet. The caveat is the 925 pilots can still opt out too.

85 hours per month at 12 yr 777 pay just gets you there, so NB pay? Nah. Not unless you are Johnny RamRod and fly your sphincter off and blow off your free time and vacation.

Pretty much.
Jeez, can you imagine working that much and completely robbing yourself of all those fishing opportunities and getting pics with some great snapper!!!!!
Work to live, not the other way around.
