Over by Easter.
Everything back to normal by April.
I heard it from the top.

3 months of furlough pay is for 6 years. 35 days of vacation is for 11 years. What contract are you working under?

Lets say the rumors regarding the tiered system hold true: a junior NB captain will get bumped to NB f/o. Then they get 50% of the NB f/o pay??? Yeah, no thanks.

All displacements in top 2/3 are canceled. If they were bottom 1/3rd they are getting furloughed if nothing happens. So you could have a part time job, 7 days a month making close to 100k with full benefits or the unemployment line.

That ^^^^ is just straight up ignorant. Having been at TK on three or four occasions (I’ve lost count with all the displacements in and out of the building) as an instructor during the lost decade I can assure you we didn’t have special pay rates. In fact along with the hourly rate reductions our pay cap was significantly reduced several times.

Some guys will never be happy in life.

If the mpg was 60hrs across the board = SOCIALISM, CONCESSIONS BIG TIME, YOU’RE STEALING FROM ME.

1/3, 1/3, 1/3 = CONCESSIONS, we’re not a true union, Hold the UPA ( some of the guys that voted NO on the previous extension are now the ones saying HOLD the UPA????)

CARES2 = The tax payers should not help us out, SOCIALISM.

Let me go grab some more 🍿.

Not disagreeing with that, but 1/2 pay in October without any kind of off ramp would certainly hurt more that 0 pay with 6 month lead time of full pay to prepare.

I agree with you. As a 20 yr guy at the top of the bottom 1/3, I'm looking at possible furlough sometime in '21 with 4.5 months of furlough pay at NB Captain rate. Now, if this agreement passes, I could be at 50% NB FO pay in October? No thanks.

This is the point I'm lost with the possible rescinding of displacements. Say 2 guys got hired at United in July of 1999. Call them Bill and Joe. These two were in the same new hire class, basically exact seniority. Joe decided to upgrade to 757 Captain a couple years ago while Bill stayed in the right seat of the 757. Now, post displacement they are both right seat 757 again. With this proposal (possible/hypothetical) it means Joe and Bill are doing the exact same job with the same seniority but because Joe got displaced he would be making more money. Doesn't that violate Union 101 rules, same seniority, same seat, same pay? Now say Joe was a couple years junior...it gets even more unreal. Am I missing the point on this possibility?
