Lots of chatter about dividing the group up into 1/3s. Not happening. Also not sure where the different MPG stuff is coming from for different groups. Who wants to wager against me when I say we will all get the same MPG?

While you were out there playing bunkie on your plush global trip, other people decided to take a bid, go to TK for a month, and then slog it out as NB captains. They bid captain, you did not. You COULD HAVE, but you chose not to.

So now, it looks like we could have a situation where there WERE displacements because those displacements (for some) could be CANCELLED. That means a lot of those people will go back their NB captain seat....just as if this whole crapshow had never happened. So you will STILL be playing bunkie on your plush global trip and they will STILL be slogging it out as NB captain. He can hold that seat. Because there is NO LONGER a displacement. And their hourly rate will remain the same. Yours will too. Again, just as if nothing had happened.

As far as the wording in the TA, yada yada, who knows. It isn’t even a TA yet. But so far I’m just not seeing what your problem is.....

That works for me. Get paid for the seat you can hold. It’s called seniority. And saying I whine like a little girl is good because I mush be hitting a nerve with you.

As far as slogging it out, you get no pity from me. I have been through TK 9 times in my 23 years and have flown NB for 19 of them. Pilots should be getting paid for the seat they currently sit and not pay protected for a yes vote.

I agree with you. He made a CHOICE for LIFESTYLE.

I honestly believe some of our guys live just for that feeling of their panties wadded in their crack.

I say wait until you get the actual AIP/TA to look at from an official source.

Seems it was just a few weeks ago we had GK on here trying to create dissent.

Having said that ... we usually get the leaked but fairly accurate info about a week early.

We'll get the official version on 16Sep. The MR voting window can be as short as 72 hours. We will likely have only a week to 10 days to analyze and vote... In this case it's prudent to consider the rumors.

.....because rushing is always a good idea, just like the rush Kirby was in to give us a new contract.

I sympathize with the folks that don't have something to fall back on once the furlough starts. That said, some of us that do have fall-backs have already pulled the trigger on the backup plan. With letter in hand, I was actually depending on the furlough happening at this point (it looked pretty damned guaranteed to happen for me near the bottom). Now we are looking at possibly pausing any furlough by 6mos or so by cratering the contract? Please take your time ALPA. Do it right, and don't double screw us guys at the bottom.
