Read TA paragraph H-2, Paul Carlson doesn't need a vacancy bid or a displacement bid, he can move you to any seat held since June and back again at will. It's BAT 2020.

hopefully it will stop and be refunded soon.

So now that the TA has passed, what happens to the furlough fund since no one is on furlough? How do we stop paying into the fund?

Hopefully a vaccine and rapid passenger recovery in conjunction with this TA will put our junior brethren on solid footing for a strong career. The next time you pass a pilot who is feeding your family and paying your mortgage, I think a sincere thank you is warranted.

Could we expect a vacancy/displacement bid this week to balance the disparity in staffing among the remaining BESs? It was stated we can potentially have 2 displacements and a vacancy bid to correct the issue.

Yes! Vacancy now, next displacement on 14 Nov. I base that on the fact the Do Over released yesterday and the vacancy released today.

Thx.
Seems like the logical sequence of events. I’m just wondering where the company wants to place the surplus of pilots, especially when LAX, SFO, IAD 756 is closed. Perhaps after this vacancy bid, we’ll have more clarity.
