Red flags for what? There’s plenty of pilots lined up to come to UA.

Anyone here used RST for United prep? Or Career takeoff? Which do you prefer and why?

Tech prep for United wouldn’t be very useful, but would serve very well at Delta & FedEx… so for us specifically, neither.

No, but I signed up for Emerald Coast and I highly recommend their interview prep.

I was invited to interview at United Airlines for the position of First Officer. I was told the interview would be conducted using the STAR format. I prepared by reviewing the STAR format and complied by answering the questions they asked in the requested format as required. I now work for United Airlines and in my spare time, I read forums where people debate on whether or not to prepare for a task.

Hey, I googled AVIATE prep programs, and seems like a lot of "free filler." Do you know of a decent program that I could pay for quality prep?

Aviate is a separate entry program, so depending on where you are at in your career, it may not be appropriate for you. That being said, the Aviate interview is the same as the traditional path with a few tweaks given for different age/experience levels of each candidate. So if Aviate is the entry you will be targeting, I think any of the established and aforementioned prep services will work just fine for Aviate.

Are you referring to interviewing for Aviate or for a United interview in general?

For the in general part, any of the companies that have been mentioned earlier have a resulted in successful interviews. Saying one is better than the other is difficult unless you’ve done more than 1.

Any tips for the leadership assessment test? Is there anyway to prepare? Also is RST’s prep good?
