When I used to be a line guy we'd throw bags for sports team charters. I'm not sure what sort of gear the teams travel with, but there sure were a lot of big heavy bags on football charters. I always assumed it was their gear.

I've never done a college team but the pro teams truck the stuff on a narrow body. The Chiefs did manage to stuff it all on a 757-300 to MEX (they did leave some stuff behind) because they didn't trust the truck to get across the border without issue.

Captain must have deplaned first. Bad move on his part cause everyone knows how much his wallet weighs. Just kidding, glad nobody got hurt.

Nothing about that movie made sense. It made Inception look simple by comparison.

Most college football teams have a dedicated semi-truck that is used to transport most of the heavy equipment.
