Dumb question,how do they un-tip it? I’d imagine that has to be stressful on the nose strut since you aren’t in motion like you would be on landing

Well played, I suppose I should have specified our current fleet of 319s and 320s. The 321 can obviously have this issue.

What you don’t see see in that still frame is that it’s just hydraulics. It was Frontier’s homage to Soul Plane.

There is a famous story about a DC-8 predelivery. A worker was vacuuming out the interior, working front to back. Yup, you guessed it. As he walked back, the plane started to tip. It was balanced, and everyone in the hangar was freaking out. he just stopped what he was doing and walked back forward. He had no idea what the big deal was! No harm no foul.
