Default Prep Company Services are Confusing- Help

Question about prep -
I have purchased both resume and cover letter from CAGE.
Next step, which ones should I get while/before/after I submit my application?
Are there some that are unnnecessary?

https://www.cageconsulting.com/colle...ervices/flying
For instance i would think PILOT INTERVIEW PREP PACKAGE ($399) and TECHNICAL PREP SERVICES ($159) are essential.

What about application review PILOT APPLICATION REVIEW ($399)?

There are so many different ones broken down into different categories I dont even know which are essential. I know essential CAGE is a profit company too, but which are not a waste of money after spending $400 on two letters? What does a pilot application review do? Should I get that before I submit my application? Why would I need a review if I am simply filling up numbers on an app?
Whereas for the Interview Prep, I read I should get an interview date first, am I right? What are my steps now after getting both my resume and cover letter done by them?
I have heard great success from CAGE and I want to maximise my value for money. Do they prep for Hogan too?

Thank you very much

Does the company you are applying for need a resume and a cover letter? If so, having it done professionally makes a big difference.
If the company you are applying for uses airline apps then do the app review. It goes beyond just numbers, although that’s a part of it. Making sure the numbers correlate, as in your last 6 months etc. making sure nothings expires. How items are listed to make it stand out in algorithm. There’s countless things that these services check for in apps. There’s many times peoples apps sit in limbo because of a mistake that could have been avoided. It’s worth the money.

Don’t do interview prep till you have an interview

I used cage, and I used the application review and the interview prep. There were a massive amount of things they had me change on the airline apps listing. They were subtle things that I hadn’t thought about and made it a much more consistent app.

The interview prep was a bit meh for me, it wasn’t in person, so I think that had a lot to do with it. I will say the prep material that I read was useful, and maybe made the interview prep that much easier. Again, just little nuances that make you stand out.

In the end I was accepted and could hardly call any of it a “waste.” I’ll get that money back in droves, I looked at it as an investment with huge payout potential.

They do not prep you for the hogan, I don’t really see how one could prep. The only thing I would say is answer as quickly as you can and don’t think about it, just do it.

When you get your app review done ask them when to sign up for the interview prep.

Thanks so much this is very useful.
Any idea when should I buy the app review? My cover letter itself took 3 weeks, and resume its been 2 weeks and not back yet. I am guessing they are busier this time of the year but they take a long time to reply. They say there is "One final review of the initial application if resubmitted within seven (7) days of the initial phone/video consult. If submitted after seven (7) days, an additional fee of $199.00 will apply."

I still have a bit stuff to fix before I officially file my app around 3rd week of Jan. With this "7 day free final review", should I only buy this app review perhaps 2nd week of Jan... Get CAGE edited and then utilise it on my final submission 3rd week of Jan? The only thing I worry about it how slow they get back to me these days. I don't want to pay for it today on the 4th and only get my app review done 2 weeks later. Or should I just buy it now (but my app is incomplete due to personal issues on my end) so they can have me in line for the app review later?

Sorry I might sound vague but I am asking should I purchase the app review ONLY when I am ready to submit my app? But I worry how slow CAGE gets back to me, I dont want to have my app completed and stay waiting. OR should I purchase the app review now, with an incomplete app and schedule them to review mine in a week? Thank you

I would suggest finishing your app before you get the review done. If you think you can get it done before the review then I guess you can lead it. You want all the data
In so the review can cover all of it

Send Cage an email or call them and ask how they work it with regards to timing.
As fir the rest... I admit I cringed a bit when I thought about the "cost" of the prep. But, I sucked it up and bought the interview prep and the sim prep(when we still did that).

I will state categorically that it was the best money I ever spent in aviation. It had been 15 years since my last interview. I would have been completely lost. You are applying for your ultimate goal and probably last job. Just write the check. Will you be successful without it? Maybe. But, do you really want to find out.

Good luck
