I haven’t heard of any significant delays for sim training. IOE has been delayed for some folks, but you can’t project the delays because once the backlog hits a certain point the company triages the list. So just because the previous class waited a month for IOE it doesn’t mean you won’t get called 3 days after your sim check.

Finished sim at the end of July and been sitting home waiting for IOE. I was recently told to wait another week for information. I think they are really backlogged.

Having one pilot at the Dtree and the other staying downtown is a bad recipe for prep unless your training partner is a time hardened slam clicker to begin with. Events are 6-8hrs in the building plus van time. Add to that exercise, sleep, studying and the inconvenience of eating and there isn’t much time leftover.
If you bring a car you're going to find it on cinderblocks one morning with probably some homeless people sleeping in it.

lol if you think the area by TK is anywhere near that bad I have a reverse mortgage and some gold to sell you. It’s a “leave your Rolex in your room and don’t run at night with headphones in” neighborhood at worst.

Virginia Ave, by delta HQ in Atlanta on the other hand….

Default Guam

Does anyone have any input into what life is like on Guam? I used to live in a pretty isolated place and it was a really good time. Do they have reasonable schools there and is there a good mix of people?
