The bid package for September shows a JFK departure as part of a brutal 5 day trip almost daily at 22:35 with a few IAD and ORD departures spread throughout the month around the same departure time. My best guess would be a yes. Small base, only 66 F/O's so buyer beware.

Virginia Ave, by delta HQ in Atlanta on the other hand….
That waffle house got some entertaining people at all hours.

Over the course of about a year I saw; a bullet going through one of the top floors of the crown from a drive by at the Louisiana Bistro, 3 employee car thefts, scattered shell casings on the sidewalk, and the room over yell “We’ll see how you feel about that when I get my gun” after an argument.

I considered sleeping in the bathtub.

Meanwhile one person out of the 2,000 new hires and 12,000+ Recurrents gets mugged in a parking lot near TK and people act like their car is going to end up on blocks or they’re going to be murdered for their new balances. 😂

Can confirm Virgina Ave. is a different world. Terrifying walk across the street to FS to say the least. Every instructor assigned to me had a story about either being mugged or observing someone getting mugged over the years

Having one pilot at the Dtree and the other staying downtown is a bad recipe for prep unless your training partner is a time hardened slam clicker to begin with. Events are 6-8hrs in the building plus van time. Add to that exercise, sleep, studying and the inconvenience of eating and there isn’t much time leftover.
Matter of opinion really.

I brought my family to training, along with my car, never felt stressed about training and we spent plenty of time exploring Denver

Back when I went to ATL for 135 training at that FSI there I never had an ounce of knowledge of how dangerous that area was. We stayed at the Drury there and would go to that Waffle House and the Irish pub behind it (great pork chops) all the time. After switching to 121 and learning more about it I don't miss it at all.

LAX and SFO are both basic (non-global) fleets on the 75/76 with zero international flying with some limited flying to Hawaii. You will see lots of EWR, JFK, ORD, BOS and MCO.
