Veriable answer. It’s all timing of when one gets hired . If you get hired and on the line in time to hit summer than many junior guys become line holders right away due to block hour increase . PBI layovers on both the 737/320 fleets. The odds of a junior guy getting them on his bid as first choice . Pretty slim.

if one gets hired and on the line after summer things slow down massively , and many people getting put on reserve till flying comes back.

EWR NB hires early in the year were line holders 2 months after OE. But UA moved the cheese and they are back on reserve for Sept. There is another vacancy bid in another month that will shuffle the deck. Another 30 to the bottle of each NB list a month if they keep up the pace. If you get the CJO now you "might" be in position to have a line when summer travel picks up in 23.

Look up maxgumby.com to see what EWR trips overnight at PBI.
