I just got the leadership assessment invite today! I noticed my application was under review a week ago on the 3rd. I’ve had the app in the new system pretty much since it came out (airline apps was filled out and reviewed before that), and I updated it most recently after the email about PIC time went out. Currently in class at an LCC coming from a regional FO, 1985 TT, 945 turbine, no TPIC or military, 4 year aviation degree, and no recs. Fingers crossed! Absolutely bonkers.

I have 1800 hours CL65 and 767/757 type. No failures, clean background and no accidents. Is there a slim chance I could get a interview ?

I don't see why not. There's no rhyme or reason for how the choose and why right now. Luck of the draw I want to say. Everyone have the same chance with or without failures . With or without degree. The only guarantee I see right now is if you had a meet and greet with a Chief Pilot.

How does one go about getting invited to a meet and greet with chiefs?

Ask a friend at United and they will set it up.

Does it matter if the TT time is in a convertible or does it have to be hard top? What about miata time?

Asking for a friend.

I’d answer that but need to go fix my hot water heater.

Why do you need a water heater if your water is already hot?
