Does anyone know somebody that was hired with mostly single engine turbine time (but also has close to 600 multi turbine) example is someone worked at planesense, would they be competitive or would United want them to do something else prior?
Also have a fun livery type rating which seems to be a key factor right now as well. |

I think he meant to say 320 as well since three of UAL's biggest competitors fly it.

Coming from part 135 as an FO, hoping for UAL or DAL. Have 2300TT, 500 turbine, none of it is PIC. Wondering ideally how competitive I would be.

United seems to value leadership experiences higher than total flight time. Yeah ok an ACMI guy has 10k hours half in the bunk and what maybe 2 landings a month? Regional guys has 4000 hours 4-6 legs in the crap everyday.
looking for union leadership positions, LCA, chief pilot, training, etc seems to carry more weight than just plain old turbine PiC |

I updated my United app when I was hired at DL and they sent the assessment a few days later. Also don’t ever downplay TPIC. |
