ALPA did pretty well getting C2K at United and Delta matched it, but the APA voted no on a similar TA just prior to 9/11 and the lost decade. AAL didn't even declare bankruptcy until 11/29/11. Just pointing out a few facts that show the absurdity of C2K causing the United bankruptcy. You should try it for a change.

Terrorism, wars, economic recession, volatile fuel costs, illnesses, and natural disasters all took a toll on the industry. During the last decade, the industry posted an estimated $47 billion pretax loss. The global airline industry was profitable only three years out of the decade. Well, you don't need to recall your local reps.

The process could be, attend your local council meeting, write and get passes a local resolution directing your LEC reps to initiate a recall effort of the master chairman.

Then its up to the collective MEC reps made up of your LEC's. If you have support of the majority of the local reps, then the chance of recalling the master chair is pretty good. So, you don't need to recall your local reps unless you feel they no longer represent your interests.

I am not. Cults are completely unified as were the Toddlers; and the Tumi TA was the result. Unity should be the means not the end, and it should be based on interests of the pilots not the interests of the Deal Leader.
