There can always be a multi-pronged attack with regards to union leverage. The loss of UAL NH/Indoc pilots to Delta is probably where the major forces are amassed as far as pressure on management. And to think, it's not even a "tactic" that the union controls. It's management scoring an "Own goal" in the World Cup finals! OOOps!

Who wudda thunk?

Management, are you listening????

Both sides have a lot to lose with this dragging out, not to mention Delta has now given us a mediated benchmark.

As long as you haven’t gone out & spent your retro check using a high-interest credit card, the company is going to start feeling the pain before you do.

Famous statement by a FA.

How long were your classes? Hmmm… if I spent another few weeks at the training center, I could have been a pilot

So buying a Cirrus with my Diner’s Club wasn’t a great idea?

Don't be so naive.

The company doesn't have to make reserve suck so bad but they choose to.

They could allow us to trip trade, but they refuse to.

100% agree. Ironically our contract has such big holes in it, they have a fair amount of leeway when it comes to reserve.

The first time I sat reserve as a half winger was FAR better than the second time almost a decade later as NBCA. Same contract.

After the last year, they’ll be tightly measured in the way they deliver any good news. They’re no longer just managing a negotiation, they’re also managing the sour mood of a tired pilot group that has shown its taste for recalls.
