Isom and Kirby Panic Mode
Negotiations have transitioned to nonstop.
IMO both TAs will occur before April 15th. Stay on your reps and tell them to take their time. The time to fix quality of life is now. |

Something to keep in mind-
When we got Kirby (yes, it is OUR Airline.. as we are here for our careers unlike upper management which comes and goes) many American Airline Pilots tried to warn of us what we were getting. Fast forward to last year and if it wasn't Isom ****ing with Kirby and our carrier, we would have been operating under the Tumi TA. Isom didn't do it because he loved us, he did it to slam our CEO. Now he is also faced with a dilemma as his pilot group is getting more ****ed at him and their operation then our group is.. So, he circumvents his union and send out that video and email about being the highest paid.. etc.. I do see a ****ing contest between them both. And Delta (and Ed) watching and laughing at all this. I still believe there's a chance that we WILL have an ILC23 by next month. And if we don't, the odds of American getting one ahead of us are probably greatly enhanced. At which point, you have to wonder what our BoD will say and do about what SK has done. |
What makes you guys think there is any rush to get this done?
The BOD would probably give Kirby a bonus for getting it done last. Every day that passes without an agreement is a discount for UAL. Pilot services 40% off! |

I disagree, retro is industry standard now. They’re essentially already paying, they should probably get some operational reliability for the money.
Who is getting full retro? Delta didn’t. Their back pay was at a ~50% discount. There is no direct financial benefit for the company to settle early. |
