MCO TPA has always been the plan, the MEC just wouldn’t allow TPA until we got the new contract. MCO TPA makes a bigger base and that will benefit everyone. Shouldn’t be too hard to bid the departure airport one wants (reserve notwithstanding) and if one has to drive to TPA instead of MCO, one can spend the drive time appreciating that they’re driving to work and not commuting to EWR.

I once did an unused FSB where I spent more time on the freeway driving 34 miles round trip than I did at the airport… and I’d take that over commuting to EWR

There are likely enough TPA pilots for most that live near MCO to not have to worry about the drive to TPA.
Left seat is very senior, but getting a bit more junior with every vacancy bid. The right seat is getting very junior.

yeah - but imagine you live wherever this is and have to take 275 and 4 to commute to EWR
