Shared a crew van with some AA guys yesterday and they are expecting an announcement “in a matter of days”. Hopefully it’ll push yalls management too. Good luck.

hopefully not lower, I don’t think AA will push the bar past delta. If it’s a crappy deal management here may wait to see how it plays out. Hope I’m wrong on all counts!

Looks like they did beat us. Now to pause for weeks while we wait to analyze what they have and to see if it passes. Congrats to AA, and I hope it’s a good deal.

Well, didn't have any phone surveys for 5 years and almost got the TUMI TA. The phone surveys served a purpose to not only get input from almost 4000 hew hire pilots but it also slow rolled the whole procedure which allowed Delta to significantly raise the bar and hopefully AA will help out too.

In this environment, going first might not have been the ideal solution.

But, I guess if section 3 is all your interested in, the phone surveys might be a waste.

“Going first” worked just fine for DAL. There was nothing wrong with the environment; our pilot group & representation simply were not up to the job.

Delta didn’t go first, we did.

Getting halfway there doesn’t count in my book. We had a TA before them but they were the first to have a contract.
