One data point: as a NB FO that usually bids reserve, I had about 210 hours when I got off probation.

I’ll share my data point—Left coast 737 FO. Half winger. Solidly on reserve. Haven’t had a line yet and am not getting closer to the G line. Opening LAS didn’t help. Routinely going 3+ weeks without touching an airplane, as are a few friends in the base I talk to. Converted to short call 3x per month on average, never been called to fly off short call. Averaging one field standby every couple months. Well over 50% of the month’s workdays are unused long call.
Friends from my class on the 777 have had lines in SFO for months. I think the word got out, and that window appeared to close on the latest vacancy. At least one of our 787 classmates flies way more than I do and claims to love it even though he’ll be on reserve for a long time.
Would be above the G line in several other 737 bases and in the top 50% in IAH, but solidly on reserve out here in the west.
Maybe will change with summer but I flew less during spring break than in January…
