Not at all. The realities of negotiating and achieving an agreement are naturally going to be disappointing to some. That update was written to the super senior, and is also a preemptive gesture for saving face if any of the constituents aren’t happy.
I still think it sounds like most of us will see a noticeable improvement.

Does anyone know if we’re getting rid of the work a red eye and leave in the afternoon Day Over thing? It’s awful!

That was in Tumi if I recall correctly, hopefully it endured.

There is almost nothing negotiating committee could do to make the new council 33 put out any comm that sounds even remotely positive.

pretty sure that just limited the duty hours the next day after doing a red eye nothing about increasing rest after doing one.

A lot of words with no meaning other than they don't want to be recalled when the TA comes out. They would rather allude to the fact that there are always parts of a contract that aren't industry leading than support our current leadership. I don't understand why their "opinions" need to be aired when they are supposedly showing unity. Be harsh on the TA when it comes out and explain your vote then.

Correct. If less than 16 hours of rest after ANF, 1 segment limited to 9 hours duty, 2 segments limited to 6 hours duty. That doesn’t do a whole lot to change how they currently build crap day sleeps.

One word - Fatigued

Enough pilots start being honest about their crappy sleep and it’ll change. We used to have it in our old sUAL contract that you could not do another flight the same day as an all nighter. It like so many other old work rules are gone.

all you can do is try and rest… if unable then don’t FFD just prior to show, call in fatigued, and tell CM I ‘should be rested and available for duty in xx hours’.
