As a junior line holder would someone be able to bid MUCH more commuter friendly trips?

When you need a 2nd flight, 10am doesn't cut it for a lot of markets. Even 11am would put places with a backup flight.

Yeah. I do see Commuter Policy Enhancements as being closer out on the latest Position Report so time will tell to see the details of that.

Although it's listed separately, "Company provided hotels for early reports/late releases or trips on consecutive days" sure seems geared towards commuters.

yes this is beneficial but I’m concerned about the Short call Caps. This indicates that we are still allowing the company to dictate this even though there are pure LC RSV lines. What this means is that RSV will be split into two groups and I’m guessing the pure LC RSV lines will be very few.

I don’t doubt the TA passing one bit. I usually predict around 80/20 maybe higher this time as I hope it looks even better than I anticipate for everyone. Garth and team are certainly doing an epic job in my opinion. Also hoping the retro pays off my house😎

That item seems to have disappeared from the July 3rd update vs. the May 22nd (unless I'm overlooking it somewhere). I suspect the MEC gave up on it. Too bad, it would have been a big incentive to lure commuters out to the coastal bases.

Even if you buy a ticket you are still required to have a second option. (Which is nuts) but yeah, nothing before 1300 at a min for most single leg commutes. This also causes long days on the first day of a trip, sometimes 16 hrs in a uniform. Commute policy fixes would be nice. Come on contract.

Are commuters (I’m a commuter) entitled to have schedules commutable on each end, while also factoring in fatigue from the long day that commuting sometimes creates? The point is that even as a line holder, you may have to come in or go home on a day off. There are tons of trips that either start early, finish late, or both. It’s the price we pay for living where we want and someone has to fly the early departures and late arrivals. I’m all for improvements, but we also need to be realistic.
