This is a load of crap. I interviewed with United last Oct. I was given the TBNT. It really upset me but I didn't let it ruin my career. Interviewed at AA 2 weeks letter with a CJO.. And interviewed at DAL earlier this year with a CJO. Just because you fail doesn't mean to stop trying. I'm happy where I'm at. Made it to a legacy after 3.5 years at a regional. Is United still my number 1? Yes. Will I reapply after October prob not as it just wouldn't be worth it. Obviously things change and so could my tune.

This is an incomprehensibly stupid post, FWIW.

I was at an LCC and got a CJO from another legacy and one of the two largest cargo places and UAL still turned me down. Since I already had the CJO from two places I went to the other legacy. I preferred UAL over the other two due to the larger wb aircraft but at this time 1.5 years have passed and I have moved up quite a bit where I am that I’m staying. Out of 5 airlines I’ve interviewed in my career UAL hands down was the most arrogant and didn’t make me feel like myself. Interview experience varies depending which interviewer you get.

Nobody has a perfect interview. You stumbled on a single question and they sent you packing? I wouldn’t be too upset, the huge hiring wave at United has already progressed, you’d be sitting in the back of the pack for a long time anyways.

I'm going to agree with you on this one. Out of the 3 legacies I interviewed with UA was the worst experience. Obviously others will have a different perspective as there are different interview teams. But my experience with the interviewers was at the bottom of enjoyable experiences.

I got an email from United recruiting team about stopping at their booth at lpa expo. Does anyone think meeting the chiefs events would be able to bypass the year long wait until you are eligible to reapply?

Reapply windows are determined by an Airlines HR department. United has chosen to waive them in the past for everyone for failed Hogans, but not on a case by case basis.
