Anyone who has been rejected in today’s climate may want to think about a career change. If you can’t make it past an interview right now, you may have some serious deficiencies. I have flown with new hires with questionable personalities, multiple DUIs, arrest records, and multiple checkride failures. The company is choosing to look at the other way on issues that in the past made one completely Unhireable. So if somebody is getting a rejection letter, I can’t even fathom how the interview must’ve gone, or what skeletons are hiding in their closet.

Unfortunately, one of the pre-requisites for doing a meet and greet with the chiefs is that you cannot have been unsuccessful at a prior interview here.

incorrect again. Seems they have 16000 pilots and want to get to 28000 by the end of the decade for their Next plan. You staying at the ULCC you went to was a bad move. Should have moved on. You’ll be the one at the back of the pack for a long time.

LOL. I’ve been at DL for 2 years now, you must have me confused with someone else. I’m assuming you dug through my post history for a quick hit and run reply after I called you out for being a bum. How’s early retirement btw?

Kind of funny, "back in the day" if one made it through all the phases at DAL, the TBNT letter said pretty much that. Pretty sure some of those were hired at NWA/DAL North getting a last laugh also.

Would you say that also applies to DL? I have October class dates at both, but seems like DL is further along the backside of their wave.

Recently had my interview. I'm at a ULCC after being at a regional. 4 LOR's, including 2 internal pilots, and one assistant chief pilot at UA. 0 checkride failures, active volunteer experience/leadership roles, interview prep, logbook review, resume review, etc. I walked out of my interview thinking it went as planned. Unfortunately I was suprised with a TBNT... United has been my dream airline and intend on trying again in a year... Sucks to think that I gave up over 2k seniority numbers by not making it on the first go. Anyone else have similar experiences? Any luck on the second try?
Thank you!
Thank you!
