The process is working. This won't be the first time you've seen pro and con statements. It's in membership's hands now and this will all be over in three short weeks. It'll be ok.

I’m just fine thanks… the people who need to calm down are the people who are still waiting for the unicorn to pop up that Mario’s promising them… they are in melt down on the closed pilot forum and Facebook and it will only get worse over the next 21 days. Regarding aspirations to ascend… let’s revisit this thread (bookmark it) next year…

No idiots. No geniuses. All 23 did what they were elected to do. How do you explain the 18-5 vote in favor? One doesn't have to explain the votes of others. Only their own. You have the chance to vote on it now. What's your problem?

So here’s a simple question for you since you’re obviously a no voter… how do you explain the 18-5 vote in favor? Other 18 who voted YES were idiots and the 5 who voted NO are geniuses? Or maybe, just maybe, based on all the briefings they receive (that we don’t) led them to believe this deal is a good one? That ever cross your mind?

Everyone has their own personal reasons for voting the way they do.
You just want the money, probably didn't even look at anything besides pay tables and retro in the AIP and TA. You don't care about any of the other sections because they don't affect you, as you've made clear. I'm just saying stop acting like it's some conspiracy to point out the large flaws in this TA, especially when compared to the AIP bullet points. 5 members of the MEC didn't think this TA was worth it, that's not insignificant. You seem obsessed with one member because you're salivating for your payday. Enjoy the retro.

If this fails during MRAT then so be it… like I said earlier I’m working on average 6-9 days a month under the draconian works rules of the last contract… so I’m guessing same work with more pay is coming if it passes. For the pay increase/retro you assume is spent… Wrong, it’s just going to be invested with the rest of the piles of money I sock away each month… so not salivating one bit (yet) as it won’t be touched until retirement. And yes you are Correct, I don’t have major issues with the SL, LTD, “forced upgrades”, fear of getting forced into a medical procedure, and of course the lack of a unicorn promise…

Unlike the TUMI, I think if we vote this down, TA3 would be a shuffling of the beams, rather than a 12 billion dollar agreement. Maybe I’m wrong.

I don’t see a good reason to vote no

Additional add pay has never for a second made a scheduler hesitate about reassigning you or scheduling you into a day off.
It's just a little extra $$ to spend on your SO when they're pi**ed off at you for missing another event/holiday.

would you be ok if it was a drop without pay or are you just looking to get paid for trips you don’t fly?

he’s referencing our old legacy United vacation pay calculation… if you bid anything that touched a vacation day the whole trip was a paid drop. Bankruptcy changed it…
