They are recipients of an agreed upon protection. Why should that be adjusted along the way? Profit sharing for those who didn’t help achieve that profit? Yeah…I know….unpopular opinion.

I disagree. Based on the strong positive vote for the contract, that is a very popular opinion.

Agreed upon protection that shouldn't be adjusted along the way? The company sure would love to hear many more pilots take that position...
The main issue I see is that a new hire who begins class the week before Christmas this year will collect profit sharing for 11 1/2 months of his probation year while the one in the very next class that starts in Jan will only get profit sharing for a single week of their probation year.
I would like to hear you justify how each of pilots contribution to company profits reflect on their first year PS check.

Jesus, we all come here knowing the rules. Everyone before you didn’t get PS as a new hire. A lot of years no one gets PS because there’s no profit. It’s amazing how quickly we all start *****ing about something we signed up for…

So no sympathy from you for mandatory upgrades for NH's and you will leave the seniority list at age 60 or 65, depending on your DOH, and will not continue to 67 even if it changes?

Got you on the record for that.;)

Because as we all know, nothing changes in this business. How did we ever get rid of the B-scale....it should have stayed in perpetuity once it reared its ugly head due to "reasons"

I mean.. pick your battles. It’s really not a big deal, I missed out and didn’t feel like I “deserved” it. It’s settled for a while to come so there’s that.
