This is the same airline the has recently hired hundreds of pilots with ZERO 121 PIC, no college degree, and maybe 2,000 hours total, 500 of which were at Frontier having their hand held flying an airbus. Safety has never been SK’s priority. That would be his stock bonus from DEI which I’m sure is now in jeopardy. SK is just trying to put lipstick on a pig.
Just wait until those low time inexperienced pilots get into the left seat at United. Everyone saw this coming, I’m surprised it’s happening this fast, but it was easily predictable.

Not an argument about whether one needs a degree or not, it’s about knowing the requirements and finding a way to meet them, not making excuses.

Unreal reply Soy Boy.
Lmao, never interviewed at United. Back when I was applying everywhere United was number 4 behind Southwest for me. Half the operation is based out of a 3rd world country (SFO). All the other United hubs absolutely suck balls. Commuter policy is industry worse. Made the idea of commuting to a United hub extremely undesirable compared to other 3 airlines I was interested in.

DL has some great bases. Who wouldn’t want to be based in DTW MSP ATL or JFK? Garden spots.

however, several of the recent incidents that have taken place where at the controls of pilots who have been here well over 20 years. All have degrees and PiC . NOTHING to do with DEI hiring etc . Including the incident IAH.
so don’t be too quick to toss stones unless you have at least some of the facts .
