From ALPA National President:

Because of your activism—and support for ALPA-PAC—we have made this union a power player in Washington, D.C. Senior leaders in Congress like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Commerce Committee Chair Maria Cantwell, Senate Aviation Subcommittee Chair Tammy Duckworth, and House Transportation and Infrastructure Ranking Member Rick Larsen all went to the mat for us. They had our backs and did not waiver in their support for ALPA. Nor did our brothers and sisters in the broader labor community. We stood in solidarity with the AFL-CIO and successfully advocated for:
  • No reductions in first officer qualifications.
  • Maintaining the pilot retirement age.
With all of the buffoonery going on in this country, I don’t expect the Dems to be controlling much of anything soon.

I don’t know, I’m sure their vote harvesting apparatus is ready for the challenge!

Not only did this clown get my birthday wrong, but he also PMd me not once but TWICE with garbage.

Congrats for those that are happy with the outcome, regrets for those that are not. I don't care one way or the other.

And in case anyone wants to send me birthday wishes in January, that is not my birth month.

I wouldn't count on that. Right now, it looks like a lot of ticket splitting will happen. I could see the House going D; the Senate may remain 50/50, giving the VP the tie breaker.
It's just too early to call anything in November.

[Mod Input] Allright folks, let's keep it civil, and keep the partisan politics out of the forum

Yes. We need to get it back on track.

Despite the gaslighting and catfishing by LEPF and their lobbyists/lawyers, Age 67 failed.

The only questions now are:

1) How much more money can they extract from their "memebership" to pay their bills;
2) When will the bo0mers demand their money back;
2) When will their lawsuit against ALPA be dismissed, and
3) how many of them will get expelled from ALPA.

Not what I was referring to.

The irony and timing are spectacular. But I'm sure the Age 67 crowd won't appreciate it.
