Millions of Americans use airline credit cards every day to accumulate points and earn rewards that allow them to travel, explore and create new memories. The Durbin-Marshall Credit Card Competition bill could eliminate these popular credit cards and cost travelers their points.

I'm happy that the group circumventing our Union for their own benefit was defeated I'm sure they will be back again like a chronic kneck pain. Does the lawsuit against alpa still stand or is that done as well?
I point out the Bill above that if it passes the airlines will be in a world of hurt. So far, it's stalled and let's hope it stays that way.
just shows you that both parties are not our friends

From ALPA National President:
Because of your activism—and support for ALPA-PAC—we have made this union a power player in Washington, D.C. Senior leaders in Congress like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Commerce Committee Chair Maria Cantwell, Senate Aviation Subcommittee Chair Tammy Duckworth, and House Transportation and Infrastructure Ranking Member Rick Larsen all went to the mat for us. They had our backs and did not waiver in their support for ALPA. Nor did our brothers and sisters in the broader labor community. We stood in solidarity with the AFL-CIO and successfully advocated for:
- No reductions in first officer qualifications.
- Maintaining the pilot retirement age.
