US courts generally rule that non-consensual TSA searches are "justifiable." I'm not saying I agree with it, but you won't win if you sue the TSA for searching your stuff without consent. I think we're way off topic now

To reiderate....If TSA or law enforcement ask to search me or my belongings at the airport or onboard the aircraft (other than at the security checkpoint), I'll tell them to show me a warrant, and if they don't, I will tell them that I do not consent to any searches and simply walk away, and leave the sterile area if necessary.
Look closely at every airport and you'll see signs informing you that by stepping on airport property and entering the sterile area you consent to search of all belongings. |
