At least we’re not talking about jets being repossessed along with sleep deprivation notions like cash burn rate and dip financing.

There was a rumor rooted in the retirement of ANA’s 777’s years ago. Supposedly their 777-200ER’s are quite similar to ours.

Why would we need more 300ER sims. Do you have to do differences? I’m pretty sure you don’t.

You don't need differences. However, it could be that with the extra planes, and pilots, we'd be short on sim capacity.

The 300 sims have the upper rest areas for the 0400 sim times

If this aircraft acquisition comes to pass, I suspect we might not buy extra sims but would instead buy time. I did a week of 737 sims in ATL when I was a new hire (We do have space at TK for some more 777 sims though). But as I pointed out earlier, with early A model retirements on the horizon our 777 fleet size may not grow bigger for long. So, I think why buy more when six seems to be an adequate number for our current fleet?
