Quick look at my BES awards for November and the two most junior (as well as a lot of other junior reserves and line holders) have Thanksgiving off. I think holiday pay has changed that dynamic. They’re still going to work every weekend though…

It certainly has. I’m at ~40% in my category and I was too junior to work Christmas last year. I’m just glad the senior guys haven’t yet figured out that Halloween also has holiday pay attached to it…

The last two years have been a weird whipsaw between too many captain slots and too few.

There are no general lessons in 8-balls being forced into captain or 36% companywide being unable to hold NBCA in EWR

I dunno, there seems to be some senior folks chasing the holiday add pay and as a result I've seen some jr CAs get thanksgiving off this bid period...

I think it's catching on quicker than you think depending on BES.....

4th of July pool display was very green for NBCA. Like spotting a unicorn.

I've only been here 6 months and somehow got Thanksgiving off... And I didn't even bother bidding for it off...

Yup. The new contract really changed the paradigm, for the better.
