Really? Do tell. While you're at it what makes a good hub?

Low costs, lots of flights and in a geographic area that makes sense for what it does.

For example Uniteds "south America hub" is Houston which is garbage, Miami is far superior for that kind of flying.

Costs are only half of the profitability equation and an airline can go under with "lots of (unprofitable) flights."

This is hilarious. Mind you have a lot of friends at AA and wish them nothing but top tier contracts and PS checks, but AA has never and will never be at the top. The APA has never delivered for their pilot group.

As for their mgmt, anyone that can lose $189m in Q3, in this environment probably shouldn’t even be running Spirit. Their “plan” seems to be shrink to profitability. Genius, where have we seen that before?

As for UA/DL, sorry but UA will never be as profitable based purely on operating expenses alone. One example, They run the tables in ATL, and dictate terms, landing fees etc. In EWR, UA is the port authorities *****/ATM.

You have missed my point by over 5 nautical miles away…..

I am not discussing APA matters. I am talking strictly about AA management team that have mismanaged that airline for decades……

A new management team with a vision similar to like SK/Oscar who can get all of AA employees working towards achieving that vision will turn that airline around…. That is my point, APA is a different discussion…

Archiee is a junior AA FO who never got the invite for UAL. He frequents this forum to spout fan fiction about UAL's demise and AA's success.

Can you imagine spending time on another carrier's subforum and telling them what to believe about their own operation? I hope he keeps it up though, it's fascinating.

Feeding the troll but the idea that MIA is a great South America hub is laughable.

Florida often has an FCA on it leading to huge delays.
