That doesn't include the Asian markets. Think Apple alone can't fill a Boom going SFO to China? The operators of the Concord were European nations where there wasn't a gigantic overwater route to Asia available (plus the increased Asia business market). The US has two coasts where extra speed is a big benefit.

I initially thought Boom was just a PR stunt. I still think it is, but if it succeeds (a big if still) it'll be a game changer. Even better if the FAA changes the rules on overland supersonic flight.
As advertised the Boom can to SEA-NRT/HND. That would be marginal in the winter, but let's just say it's doable 365 days of the year all conditions. It can't do mainland China, as designed probably not Korea, nor Hong Kong, Taiwan. It can't do NRT/HND from any other U.S. city except for SEA. So let's say you want to go to SFO final destination... assume 1hr connection time including customs + back re-check + security again (1hr is generous), and 2 hour flight subsonic to SFO, your total travel time is about 8 hours to get from NRT to SFO. Dallas would be generously 10 hours travel time. Now you had to make a connection, spend the entire time in a non lie-flat seat, when you could have booked a direct flight to/from any U.S. city and Tokyo with a lie flat seat at the cost of a first class ticket, with zero hassle. And of course since Boom can't do mainland China or China-adjacent destinations, you're leaving out a massive market entirely.

So what benefit does flying slower than the Concorde, with fewer passengers, and less comfort than what is offered on 4-6 hour transcon fleets now, really offer?
