Curious if there's any relation?
“Aileron” was with him when he died.

The dog.

Its just there is NO money in it

given that Supersonic over land is prohibited....there are only so many city pairings where it can be used. Which is basically why P and W told him to pound sand and he had so much trouble getting an engine manufacturer. Best of luck to Florida Turbine technologies......but the numbers people at P and W or RR will tell you that the economics of engines is a lot like that of printers. The money is not in the printer itself its when you change the INK....i.e maintenance.

Since there are so few city pairings, there arent going to be enough volume to make much money of the MX........
there is the possibility that given the higher cruise speeds used...the engine will likely get ot overhaul quicker...but either way...unless Supersonic prohbition changes...those reamin pretty tough challenges. Hence why I compared him to Holmes..the idea itself was good and noble of using small amount of blood.....but it was reliant upon machines that didnt really work or rather the technology had yet been developed completely.

They have no engines.

The chances that this brand new start up is going to be able to design both a supersonic aircraft and engines is nil.

Amazingly the T-38 was able to go supersonic with only 2 engines and not 3!

That thing looked like they started with a T-38 and asked AI to make a three engined version!

I was a passenger on a Virgin flight coming out of LHR once, and the Concorde took off in front of us. When it throttled up I thought my teeth were falling out.

Which is why NASA’s X-59 program is working to enable overland supersonic travel with quieter sonic booms.

Im not in NASA...Ill take you at your word...but you can at least see that that is the main hurdle which will make them BOOM, but until that clears it will be BUST. Sorry. Hopefully Scholl has got some cash stashed away otherwise he may get starved out

They are well aware of that. BOOM started because there have been advances in sonic boom reduction. That was one of the core principles that got BOOM started.
