Between the ongoing Boeing issues and UA’s historic reliance on RJ flying that status quo is unlikely to change

and DL has more international flights flown by codeshares than UA…I’ll take what UA has.. also the RJ flying that UA has is getting less and less by the day .

That begs the question, then why does Delta outsource the majority of their regional flying to airlines they don’t own? Delta Connection

Ever heard of an airline called Comair?

UA is forced to contract out all their RJ flying to infamous groups like Mesa/CommuteAir because management is cheap. Hence, why UA regionals are the worst to work at.

On top of that, the UA flow is offered to non-ALPA pilots. Large slap in the face to the RJ ALPA guys that UA -contracts- to do their vast amount of RJ flying

So, to sum it up UA is the master of outsourcing domestic flying (where all airlines make bulk of their cash) and lose the benefit of having an in-house regional..

once again proving ypu have no idea how the airline industry works.
How profitable is AA since they own Envoy and PSA??

So how's SWA, JB, spirit doing with all that profitable domestic flying. Please stop typing at lunch time. I think I hear the bell ringing for you.

Oof. She sounds real mad about the UMPP.

You'll take what UA has; be my guest. A weaker profit sharing check I see. Have fun with that..

Oh yeah the flood of the 737 deliveries is replacing RJ flying by the day! Maybe you’ll have 30k pilots, Boom jets, and E-Jets by 2030 too, how exciting!

Please, UA will stay the king of being a weak domestic carrier relying on infamous companies to pick up the slack with focused WB flying in awful bases like SFO/EWR (have a blast on global reserve)

Have fun in fantasy land man, I’ll stay grounded with the facts which all boils down to two things: years of top profits & better work rules. Adios

I’ve flown one trip since the start of December and sit long call from home. Global Reserve is cake.
