If, and ONLY IF, they have a mint 308GTS to drive around, I'll give them a pass.

Someone above finally explained with cabin and jumpsuit list examples how this scenario plays out here at UA. In that example, every seat was going to be occupied but how they were going to be occupied determined whether or not you got on or the other UA employee. So hopefully that example was clear for you to see how we at UA use both listings (as encouraged by the union) to assist other non-revs, UA pilots and other airline pilots.

My problem reading this thread is that you come on the forum with a question about what happened trying to understand why the pilot did what he did. The replies all started off explaining the courtesy of United pilots looking out for others and how we use the lists to make our decisions. Your immediate response to everyone, even those who didn't respond with a quip, was to be insulting, entitled, close-minded and all around unappreciative of the pilot you encountered as well as all those on here explaining a true act of courtesy to a fellow aviator. I just don't get the snotty replies to all on here trying to educate you on our procedures as if WE are the ones at fault in how we do things. SMH.
